I don't know but I do want to share my experience..

Anonymity.

My first AA group was in Washington D.C.
I was there for 8 years.
We had several members of the Presidential staff.
We had members of the U.S. Congress..
we had Catholic priests and nuns.
We had professors and authors,
We had doctors... lawyers... the homeless and me...a waitress,
We had members from the Washington Post newspaper.

Not once did a leak occur over any members anonymity
that I knew of in the years I was there.
