I agree about the doctors, not all - but some of them will perscribe meds without telling you the effects or the risks of taking them. That's how I started taking dilaudid and percocets, and my old doctor was only too happy to fill them. BOTH of them. Like you, the pharmacy started giving me a hard time which led to pharmacy shopping, and eventually buying them on the streets when i couldn't get them filled. I am a single mom of 2 great children - my youngest having autism. Taking these pills made me feel so much better and better able to take care of him. Or so I thought. But the more I think what these are doing to me, the more I worry about who would look after him if something was ever to happen to me - and is it really worth it? of course not. Good for you for admitting you have a problem and looking for ways to beat it. Going cold turkey isn't going to be easy - but can be done - I'm on day 6. One day at a time - prayers are with you
